Outcast among the crowd I wandered
I couldn't feel safe, I was one of the unwanted, I had to flee
I walked so long to reach your haven and I am here, at your door
To be rescued, don't lay me aside
Take me in, my defender
Fury. It has never been a hunt, nothing more than a harvest
I forgot my own name but not yours
I walked so long to reach your haven and I am here, at your door
To be rescued, don't lay me aside
Take me in, my defender
Right in the middle of devasted lands
Out of reach appears a familiar sight : my shelter
For once let me exist behind your walls
Just once let me come and tightly grip your stairs
And long for your hand to wake me up one last time
Time has ruined this place as hate ruined our world
So I will lie here and wait for the end of the storm
Empty hall, untouched dust, beloved moonscape
The garden is dead but here I am, no one will come to find me now
I walked so long to reach your haven and I am here, at your door
To be rescued, don't lay me aside
Take me in, my defender

Metamorphosis takes the musical artistry of this band to another level. It's not progressive,it's daring, as each musician in the band tries things they didn't try before. Obviously with Jelena adding death growls to her repertoire, but also with every song being it's own little universe but still fitting the concept of the album. This here is something you've probably never heard before. Oh, and I just can't pick a favorite song, because that changes everytime I listen to this great album. wormys_queue
It's a great blend of different metal genres and styles, with great solos in basically every song, just that touch of oriental influences that feel natural but not artificial and above all else, performed by the beautiful, haunting voice of Jelena Dobric, who uses it in a way that is not the typical operatic approach as we are used to from other female-fronted bands wormys_queue
Great Power Metal. The song that drew me to the band was "Sometimes In My Heart" which is a great slower song. Really enjoyed listening to this album! SkullcrusherX
